Touché!
I have four GSSF coupons burning a hole in my pocket. I’ve moved away from Glock for most carry, but I’ve noticed the 29 and 30 work better for my wrist pain than 19s.
Anyone here have a Glock 29...
I know it doesn’t meet your other requirements, but…
Ridgeline: 36.7
They’ve slowly been moving the Ridge’s styling to be more trucklike. When Gen2 came out they dumped the swoopy styling and added a fake cab-bed seam; the grille has been getting more and more...
The chauffeur can just crawl through the window, who cares about the little people.
Thing I learned today: assuming this is still accurate, a NFA trust name cannot be changed:

I decided to jump off the cliff and ordered a half case of the purple tip Syntech. I like how it’s intended to be a range counterpart for HST, which is what I’ve been transitioning to in all my...
Another firing pin data point, less useful because it’s S80:
SIG 1911X-FULL 2.31”, 4g which translates to 61.7294 grains.
But the used market is part of what drives new truck sales. If you can’t sell your existing truck for a reasonable amount, you can’t buy a shiny new one.
IANAL, but I think a trust can be restated with a new name.
Hmmm. Maybe the Commander length gun will be a bobtail?
Edit - you may be onto something. Everything on their 1911 page is marked discontinued except for the new 1911X:

The optic cut is my entire reason for getting this thing. My eyeballs are getting rusty…
The S80 trigger on mine is quite acceptable. I’m curious to see how it changes as I break it in.
I’m not sure about holsters, all I’ve tried so far is a new JMCK OWB2 for a railed 5” that I...
I wonder if they scream when you bite into them.

You can probably get it all done for $300 plus the cost of the stock if you do it as an individual and roll your prints the old fashioned way - $200 stamp plus $25-$50 to engrave and whatever it...
I have a thing for early Citizen Stiletto watches, when they came out back in the 80s they were the thinnest watches I had ever seen. We were broke and it was pre-internet where you could shop for...
I prefer local engraving where the firearm doesn’t have to be shipped. I’ve never had a problem finding someone, but my guy in NH was especially good.
I’m the same way. I came up on revolvers and had TDA semis pretty quickly, so adapting to them isn't a big deal.
I’m about an hour away from them too, so with one exception I’ve driven down for pickup. (It gives me a chance to stop at Ziggy’s for frozen perogi, too.)
I didn’t realize they could do transfers...
I sold the Miata last year, it was impractical here in Texas - too small in a land of lifted trucks, and I don’t like the sun enough to bake. But, I miss having a toy.
Part of me wants to see if...
I found the applicable reg regarding engraving:

Still haven’t gotten to the range, I believe it will reopen this weekend. Town is still pretty beat up.
Sad news indeed.
I have only used Capital Armory, they’ve been great. The other big shop that shall not be named has a bad reputation from what I can tell.
