Thread: New revolvers at SHOT/Lipsey's release

Thanks to JEC (Jason from Lipsey’s) I am in possession of my brand new 632UC!

When it looked like Cabela’s had dropped the ball on my order, Jason and Scott from Lipsey’s picked up the fumble and ran it across the goal line! Score!

When I opened the box and found out it had a bad front sight, Jason made sure the sight was replaced in record time for a 2-point conversion!

I can’t tell you all how much I appreciate the superlative customer service and care I received from Jason and his team. Well done Gentleman!

One I get it to the range I will come back with a full report.

    Truly most excellent news.

The more I run this 642, the more I like it. So much so I am in the process of acquiring another one.

Sure hope S&W will sell me the rear sight to retro onto my 640Pro...It's how it should have come imho.

Really looking forward to more revolver goodness

And a bad couple of years for their wives and accountants, it seems…

More than $800 for the gun. Geez, I got one of the original 432s for $305 when they were dumped quite a few years ago. Must be around 8 or so years - have to look it up. Now it has the good ol' J frame fixed sight and ditch in the back but that's ok with me for its uses.

I think the gunsmithing cost to get those sights installed, grips and a comparable action job would bring the price closer to parity than you might think.

The sights really are good. Even without reading glasses my shitty middle-age eyesight can see them. I can't distinguish between the green and the white, but they are at least visible.

Also unrelated to the 432 but I test fired my 642 with a drive the dot hold and the 110gr Hornady Critical Defense rounds hit to the sights with that hold.

This has me anxiously waiting for a phone call, hopefully sooner than later now.
