Very retro 80’s tech, I just can’t do digital. But that said I don’t think they even teach how to tell analog time in school anymore, if parents don’t teach it kids today can’t know it.
I’ve even seen classic Casio watchfaces for Apple Watch.

VCDgrips has been telling me about Dekla watches for a while. Interesting and reasonably priced. Very Sinn like.

+1.
I got this Seiko Solar for Father's Day 2020, IIRC for just an RCH over one Benjamin:
(I had to go check my post in the other watch thread to find when I got it)
I have literally worn it every day since. Went well with my tan/brown uniform. The nylon strap (black sharkskin underside) got to looking a little ratty, and I replaced it with a black mesh magnetic band that I had, which just happened to fit. It stays in lock-step with the time on my cell phone (I do basically ignore the second hand) until I have to advance the date. Even though for over 3 years now I wear long sleeves to work (solar).
Here's my 3:
The Skagen was a Christmas gift, and pre-dates the Seiko. It really only gets worn when the Seiko feels too plain.
The Swiss Army (Victorinox, I suppose?) I bought for $40 at a pawn shop outside either NAS Memphis or MCAS Cherry Point in the late '90's. I'd had to remove a few links from the bracelet for it to fit back then, and now it's too snug. the spare links got lots in one move or another. I'll get another bracelet for it one of these days. I think I've only gotten one wearing out of each of the last two since battery changes.
I honestly don't know what I would need any other watch for, unless something just tickled my fancy.

I love that Skagen. It's thin, right? Maybe I wouldn't scratch it up too bad....(PF enabling activated)
But the Citizen checks the boxes: tough, keeps perfect time, easy to find tan/green/black straps for, tells me the date and day of the week, because I can't be bothered to remember that but need to for work every day, easy to read.

The swiss army looks to be an 18 or a 20 mm.
I would put a quick release strap on it in black (or blk/red) and put it in the rotation

edited to add- I just saw an ebay offering that said the lug to lug for the strap is 19 mm- Amazon has straps a plenty in that width as well.

It's very thin. It gets the nod if my shirt cuffs are tight.
My wife has two Citizen Eco-Drives that are solid. I got her the second, larger one so that she could actually read the date.
I'm really soured on silicone straps. Had too many straps and/or keepers split and crack. Although I suppose they are cheap enough to replace. I much prefer the solid stainless look.
