Average of lowest five is up another penny, to $0.59 a round this week. 10 days to go.
With a week to go until the inauguration, the average of five lowest on Ammoseek is up a whopping $0.12, to $0.71 a round today:
...and here we are: $0.71 per round.

The big spike that took place around the time of the capitol shenanigans seems to be holding steady.
Where we go from here, I have no idea. But I would not be surprised if this was the new normal for the next 4 years. Anyway, been interesting to me at least to have a sense of where ammo has gone.
I think my prediction was around 0.80/rd. I'm glad I'm not paying those prices. A drug habit would probably be cheaper.
I just checked CCI .22 SV on Cabelas website and the price is about the same as it was several years ago. I'm not sure you can find it in the store however and there is no internet sales. 9mm is probably the same situation, none on the shelf.

In the P-F basket of deplorables.
I suspect that after the noise surrounding the inauguration comes to an end, the new administration's first announcement of their proposed anti-2A legislation will likely see ammo prices soar beyond their already stratospheric levels.
Sure, it's interesting, but it is not the kind of "interesting" that any of us who actually shoot our guns are going to enjoy.

Strange times when people are trying to sell 9mm for more than .223.
Not sure what to make of this.
I've been using Ammoseek to track the lowest average price of bottom-end brass 9mm ammo for a while. I was updating my graph this morning, and it looks like prices are now below the level they were at before the election.
Are you seeing supplies restock or a return to lower prices in your area?
I was in a range last week. They had cases of what looked like reman for over $.70 per round. I didn’t count but there were several cases available. Another gun store near by had several cases of 9mm and 5.56. No limit on purchases. Price wasn’t advertised and I didn’t ask.

Range I am a member of had 9mm for sale to shooters again. Did not see the price as I had my distance glasses on.
