That’s underwhelming. I’d rather see a lightweight .38 or an increase in SAA production.

Agree, especially on the SAA production.

Maybe it's because I've had some experience in marketing, but I always like companies to explain what their new wiz-bang provides the consumer that the old wiz-bang does not.

    Not seeing it here.
    I'm a "7" compared to most gun-guys, which means I'm a "3" on P-F.

I have read that unofficially they have said there is no way they can meet demand for SAA so they aren’t even going to try and increase production. Instead they are mostly just concentrating on commemorative runs.

Rumor is it will be custom shop only at this point.

Not very bright but does lack ambition
That Viper actually has huge appeal to me - I always wanted a last model Police Positive (the one with the half lugged barrel.) I will definitely be looking at the 4.25” version of this one, and maybe the 3”.

Wait, wait, wait... so Colt is saying, "Yeah, sure, we'll just leave that money on the table" ?!?

I would not like to shoot the ported barrel Kodiak without hearing protection. I had a 45-70 Marlin that had a ported barrel and shot it a couple times deer hunting which damaged my hearing.

    The viper is interesting.

It is probably more a limit on how many people they have that know how to assemble them.
