They already did that in the early 1990s. And I’d be lining up for them to take my money if they ever tweaked and revisited the BDM! But no - instead we get some Flemish variation of the Caracal.

    Flemish Caracal. Haha.

It looks like it's got some kinda nub on the back of the slide plate. It looks like it's got an ejection-port lockup. And that macro-lever on the grip could be a decocker? And maybe a re-cocker?! I mean, someone needs to pick up where the Sauer 38h left off.

The overall silhouette is nauseatingly ugly. But I'll admit--I really do like a straighter grip profile. Seems like there's a nice radius there for trigger reach, too. I bet it feels really good.

I'm curious. Because I like guns. But I'd probably be more likely to buy their new "High Power" or a Sig P210 Carry.

    Or a Mauser M2. Because buying cool, interesting guns I don't need isn't a decision... it's a lifestyle...

I should have clarified. I think it’s going to be a polymer framed decocking da/da striker fired gun like the walther p99. But, since it’s FN it’s going to cost $1300.

Does the name.make anyone else wonder about the 5.7mm or the new .30 caliber round? Seems like going with those would be a lot of odd ball stuff to dump into a new pistol, but FN likes oddball.

The 509 unlike their last striker pistol has been gaining traction and contracts. I do not see this replacing it. Would this even be available here?

Looks like a train wreck to me.

Oh look, yet another generic polymer framed, striker fired, double stack 9mm pistol in a market already flooded with ones that do the same thing while having much longer track records...

    ...moving on

Train wrecks get a lot of attention.
