    Assuming it mounts using elongated side plate screws - I can see that causing some problems.

    I saw elsewhere that shield arms released this at the nra show. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

    Looking at it a bit closer, that's likely going to damage some Js. Those tiny side plate screws are not meant to stop the mass of a dot.
