Bowling pin match this past Saturday.
I broke my own personal records for fastest string, at 4.19 seconds, and fastest aggregate time of 13.96 seconds over 3 strings (we keep the best 3 strings out of 4 strings shot). https://www.dropbox.com/s/tofncindgr...12122.mp4?dl=0
Note that my STI has a Tasco Propoint Optima 2000 mounted to the slide that was installed 20 year plus ago. The original owner was an early adopter. For bowling pins I really like the 8 MOA dot it has.
And how do I embed this video?

Here are a couple stages that had some interesting things.
In the first one, I decided to engage the Max trap before it opened. That saved enough time for a stage win. 23A 1C.

This stage was interesting because the activator was a stomp plate and the drop turner was really fast. After watching some good shooters screw the pooch on it, I played it safe and saved it for last. Also I tripped on the fault line and smashed into a barrel stack.

I’m a modern A class competitor. Will work off season to get to field course M.

When you discover a popper down, just keep shooting unless they call a stop... I ended up re-shooting the stage, but the RO didn't say anything until I was finished.

I can't resist... (friendly ribbing). I know what you mean. Level of competition has gone up a lot.

We shot an eight stage match Sunday. Charlie was shooting very well, measurably better than even a few weeks ago at the Area match, due to focused daily practice. Unfortunately, on stage seven of the match, on an uneven surface, she had a bad fall. While she kept the gun pointed down range, she landed hard. She was nauseous and in too much pain to continue the match. She has a high pain tolerance, so I was concerned.
Here was her match video, ending with the fall.

She was uncomfortable overnight and couldn't lift her arm. After consulting with YVK, we headed in, and fortunately there is an urgent care ortho place in Bozeman. After X rays, we learned she broke the humerus in her right shoulder. They hope it will heal without surgery, but she needs to immobilize it for three weeks and avoid any more trauma.
If you want to see what a bad fall looks like, with remarkable muzzle discipline throughout, here you go.
