Man, that's some bad luck.
Probably. I don't have one to compare it to. It's a lot heavier than a model 36 and the butt is longer.
I just sent my Taurus 85 back to Bainbridge GA. to see if they can un-cant the canted barrel. They said it's a 4 week turn around. They sent me a shipping label.
I was comparing it to a S&W 36...

Can I use that? I think you just coined a new phrase.
I just checked that and modified my post. Thanks.
I think 18'' is the legal minimum unless SBS. Probably why not any being manufactured these days. Many 18'' barrels out there though. That's a pretty short barrel considering 26-30'' is standard.
When I moved to Seattle in 1975 I became a member. Hiked a lot in those days and REI was a good place to shop. They used to have a loft where a person could find used gear cheap. Several good Seattle...
Makes sense. Probably why the sales person asks how you will be paying for the vehicle up front.
I hate banks almost as much as Andrew Jackson did. They take the cream and when they fail the fed (tax payer) bails them out. It's a racket.
Time to start paying down that mortgage. ;) It's nice to walk into a dealer and pay cash for a new vehicle. They get long faces when they don't have an opportunity to write a 6% loan for a 50K...
I load on a single stage press and keep 2-3 hundred cases primed and ready to load. I would be better off with a progressive press but just haven't purchased one yet. I sold two progressive shotgun...
I retired early at 63. The second divorce set me back financially about 5 years. Anyway, my present wife and I are both retired with zero debt.
I have a 2019 4R that I purchased new with cash,...
I started carrying my wallet in my front pocket years ago for that reason.
And it probably still won't be enough to recruit the number they need. The city council is still FUBAR.
The same thing has happened with rifle scopes.
Leupold scopes for instance.
Used to be they were all 100% made in the US. Their lower line isn't anymore. The parts are out sourced to off...
Well, it is a revolver. Nobody wants those these days. They're sorta like a sxs shotguns. You're probably stuck with it. ;)
I've had this one for a few years. Picked it up from some poor bastard...
You need a light on that. I have an HK P-30 with a light. No question about who I'm about to shoot.
This thread has peaked my interest once again in a .357 lever rifle. I have a 4 year supply of brass, powder and SP primers. I do have several model 19's but I don't shoot .357 in those anymore. So...
I'll take a guess and say your prison pocket.
How else does one do that if one sleeps without clothing?
My grandmother who was born in TX around 1900 carried a 32 in her purse. She lived with us for awhile in the 50's and she showed it to me. My dad never had a problem with her carrying a revolver but...
Not a 32 but I found an old Taurus 85 snubbie in my safe yesterday that I forgot I had. I checked my very thick folder for a receipt of purchase and I found it. I bought it new in 1991 and the...

32 Long is making a come back. I'm fooling around with some loads now using a S&W model 31-1. Not a good round for SD but for shooting 4 legged critters it has it's advantages. It will put your eye...
