Critical Defense 110gr shoot POA/POI for me. Anything 158gr shoots high!
I've owned one since August/23 and no issues. I also own the 2" DAO and 3" DASA. Kimber does the revolver right, the 1911 not so much.
If you are using DW OEM magazines, those are the problem. I had the same failures to lock back and terrible follower bind with the slide catch. The follower bind was so bad that it locked the gun...
I like the looks of them, but way too slick. I’ve got VZ Operators on all of mine.
Do you keep the wood stocks? Those were the first things I changed.
Are you looking for issues with stoppages related to using the slide release as opposed to sling shot? I have north of 8,000 rounds through my Specialist 9mm using ETM magazines, not a single issue...

In my experiences, reliable flush fit 1911 magazines are 7-rounds only. 8-round magazines have an extended baseplate to accommodate proper spring tension. I use Wilson 8-rounds ETM for my .45 ACP...
I would have been “killed in da streets” with my mess. Powder everywhere and fouled the chamber terribly.
I guess I’m also going to avoid 115gr. I’ve ran 124gr Speer Gold Dot +P and 135gr Critical Duty +P and very little signs of movement were noted. I guess I’ll be using heavier bullets.
Took the LCR out to the range today, having recently purchased it. I purchased this particular revolver to serve as a training analog for my more traditional .38/.357 snub revolvers. I can shoot...
It's more tax evasion, when I place orders the ammunition manufacturer has to have a current Federal Excise Tax (FET) declaration on file (I believe every two years). The FET statement is an...
I’ve been pretty lucky even with Federal Black Pack and Auto Match. Then again, I’m using an LCR .22 which is a joy to own and shoot. I’ve had one failure to fire in 4,000+ rounds through my LCR...
He looks more like a pregnant Jack Black. Dude annoys the shit out of me.
Looks like a machining flaw, personally.
Ruger LCR's are nice.
Why screw up a good thing?
.32 craze is a fad that won’t last very long. My opinion.
How about a limited release of the Nightguards!?
That’s a lot of MIM, I’ll be sticking with my Dan Wesson’s.
Federal American Eagle is my preference when available. No preference between 115gr or 124gr. My second choice would be Norma.
All handguns lack "stopping power" and shot placement coupled with penetration has always been the rule(s) of this game.
I own four Dan Wesson 1911's, three of which are 9mm (Specialist, Valor Commander, and a TCP). My least favorite of my Dan Wesson pistols is the TCP in 9mm. The ergos of the proprietary VZ grips...
A fucking men! Nothing irritates me more than those who want “thanked for their service” from 20, 30, 40 years ago. Get over it and move on, there is more to life.
