My new-to-me Guncrafter No. 2 in .50GI is currently sitting at my FFL. The slide will get sent out for a red dot cut and black DLC once I've fired some rounds thru it to check for proper function. Picture from seller.Attachment 118494

Seriously, though - I’m curious how it shoots. I’m guessing a little bit more oomph than a .45 but less than a .50 AE. I bet it’s pleasant.

It's surprisingly soft shooting. With the factory 300 gr plated flat point bullets, it's less recoil than US factory new.45ACP 230 FMJs. With the 275 gr JHPs, it feels about the same as 230 gr hardball ammo.
I reload with a 270 gr coated SWC and Titegroup and its a lot of fun to shoot. So much so, that this will be my 2nd .50GI Guncrafter. One for each hand... ha ha ha.
