I'm not much of a Falchion man, but I would absolutely love some sort of Polish Szabla.

I'm afraid not. He made my single hander with the bronze pommel. But, I don't have a falchion though I should. Is that beauty yours?
The MRL Falchion you have is actually one of their better efforts. I've owned a few of Tod's Cutler line. I'd put them a bit higher on the scale, but not by a big leap.
We may lose and we may win, but we will never be here again.......
My biggest issue with the MRL Falchion is the handle - it’s far too thin. I was thinking of finding someone who could do a leather wrap or trying it myself. I also has a little bit of skew in the blade, but I imagine that was fairly common back in the day. I got that impression on Tod’s Asian made line - the delta in price however is big.

I have a couple sabers from Imperial Russia, including a Cossack Shashka. They were brought over by a friend’s grandfather who was an officer in the White Army. Unfortunately, they were left in their sheaths for years in humid conditions and the rust has done its thing.

Tinker Pearce does very good swords.
Also read his "Medieval Sword in The Modern World". Lots of great information such as center of percussion vs center of balance.
Also the following authors/books are informative Tallhoffer, Del Fiore, Wallenstein Codex, John Silver, Hank Rheinhart.
